The snooker room is available for use by all members every day from 09:00. Closing times may vary but as a guide, the club closes on a weekday at 22:30 and at 21:30 at weekends. During match season free tables may be limited on a Wednesday evening.

There are three fully equipped full-size tables in excellent condition in a fully air-conditioned room. There is a small charge for the lights controlled by coin meter (at present £1 for 30 mins). Please bring £1 coins with you to play as the bar is now card only and no change will be available.

A queuing system is in operation to ensure fair table usage. Members are asked to play doubles when tables are busy. Members wishing to play snooker are advised to study the notices displayed in the snooker room regarding etiquette and dress.

Two teams are entered in the Harrow and District Snooker league. Matches are normally played from September through to March, although Covid has affected plans this season. It is hoped that the league may start in Jan 2022. Matches are played twice a month on alternate Wednesdays. To be eligible to enter the league as a player or to enter any of the various individual snooker competitions run by the League, players must be a member of Lowlands Club. See ‘How to join Lowlands’ on our website.
