There is a thriving table tennis section at Lowlands Club.

Lowlands is a private members’ club. It is not open to the general public but you can become a member by completing an application form which you can download from the Membership section and returning it to [email protected]

The hall provides excellent playing conditions for competitive match play, practice and social table tennis.

Lowlands Club is the largest contributor of table tennis teams to the Wembley and Harrow Table Tennis League with 9 teams competing in the 2021/22 season. It is represented in all six divisions of the League. During the League season October – March, matches are held on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings starting at 7.30 pm.

New members are always welcome throughout the year. We have a range of styles and playing abilities at the club so if you are looking to play competitively, for fun, enjoyment and the exercise that competitive sport provides, contact Geraint Hughes, e-mail: [email protected]

All table tennis members are encouraged to participate in a wide range of social events which the Club organises.

Note for members and visitors: Following the removal of Government Covid restrictions on 19/07/21 and in line with the Club announcement on 20/07/21, the wearing of face coverings on the premises is now a matter for personal choice but is advised in crowded public spaces. Table tennis players should continue to observe Club guidance on social distancing and hand hygiene.

Table Tennis bookings – Table Tennis England recommends that a record of attendees at all TT sessions should be kept.

All Club members MUST pre-book a table tennis session if you wish to play by contacting Geraint Hughes – WhatsApp or text to 07710 533101.

Please ensure you check the Social/Events Calendar on the Lowlands website before requesting a table booking to check that the hall is available. Please provide players’ full names, together with booking date and your session start and finish time. Plan ahead – usually at least 24 hours notice is required.

At the end of your session, tables and nets MUST be returned to the storeroom unless otherwise advised. The hall is multifunctional – table tennis players must ensure that the hall is left tidy for the next hall users.

At the present time there is no online booking facility for table tennis. This facility is under consideration.
